Apel , also Seteneng , is a city in the South African province of Limpopo . It is the administrative seat of the Local Municipality Fetakgomo / Greater Tubatse in the Sekhukhune district .
geography
In 2011 Apel had 1033 inhabitants under the name Seteneng (2011 census). Around Apel are the places Mooiplaas, Sesesehu and Ga-Nkoana.
The place is near the mouth of the Mohlaletsi in the Lepelle . The Lepelle forms the border to the Capricorn district here .
Most of the residents speak Sepedi as their first language .
history
Apel was in Homeland Lebowa , which was dissolved in 1994.

The R37 runs around 17 kilometers north of Apel in an east-west direction and connects Lebowakgomo and Burgersfort , among others .
