Apisit Chamsri (born November 21, 1994 ) is a Thai sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Apisit Chamsri gained his first international experience at the 2017 Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , India , where he was eliminated over 400 meters with 48.21 seconds in the first round and with the Thai 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 06.48 minutes won the bronze medal behind the teams from India and Sri Lanka. He then retired at the Summer Universiade in Taipei with the relay in the preliminary round and won the bronze medal behind Pakistan and Qatar at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat in 3: 21.21 minutes in early September . Over 400 meters he was eliminated with 51.35 s in the semifinals. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and was eliminated there with the men's relay in the run-up. The following year he reached fourth place with the relay in 3: 10.28 min at the Asian Championships in Doha . He then finished sixth at the Student World Games in Naples with the relay in 3: 07.00 min and won the silver medal behind the team from Vietnam in the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 3: 08.20 min.
