history

A place Appersdorf (today's Oberappersdorf) was first mentioned in a document in 860. The name of the place is derived from "village of the abbot" and probably refers to the old property of the Tegernsee monastery in the place. In 1465 Nyder Appelstarff (today the hamlet Unterappersdorf) is mentioned. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria was created by the Gemeindeedikt the independent municipality Appersdorf of the 1818th At that time the name of today's village Oberappersdorf was also Appersdorf . In 1904 at the latest it had become Oberappersdorf.

As a result of the municipal reform , the municipality was dissolved on January 1, 1972, and all districts were incorporated into the municipality of Zolling . Oberholzhäuseln and Unterholzhäuseln came to the neighboring community of Nandlstadt on May 1, 1978 .
