The Apple W3 is a System-on-a-Chip that was presented by Apple on September 12, 2018 at an Apple Special Event. It is part of the Apple Watch Series 4, which is available for the first time in a smaller 40 mm and a larger 44 mm version. In contrast to its predecessors, it is manufactured for the first time using the 7 nm process , which enables lower power consumption.
