Apple S1P

The Apple S1P is a SiP from the US computer company Apple . It was released on September 7th, 2016 with very little information about the specifications.

The chip is almost identical to the Apple S2 ; only the GPS sensor is missing . It is currently only used in the Apple Watch Series 1 .

According to Apple, the two cores deliver up to 50% higher performance and the graphics processor delivers up to twice the graphics performance than the Apple S1 .

System-in-package design

It uses a customized application processor that, along with sensors, RAM, flash memory, wireless support processors, and I / O, form the computer on a single chip. This chip is filled with resin for durability .
