Aroltshang Rinpoche

Aröltshang Rinpoche ( Tib. A rol tshang rin po che ) is the title of a line holder of the Gelug -tradition of Tibetan Buddhism from the monastery Rongwo ( rong bo ) in the large village Rongwo in circles Tongren of the Autonomous District Huangnan Tibetan in the northwestern Chinese province of Qinghai .

The first representative of this series, i.e. H. the 1st Aröltshang Rinpoche, was Dragpa Gyatsho (1740-1804). The most famous representative of the series is the 3rd Aröltshang Rinpoche Lobsang Lungtog Tenpe Gyeltshen ( blo bzang lung rtogs bstan pa'i rgyal mtshan ; 1888–1959).
