The Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (ABUA) ( Azerbaijani : Azərbaycan Memarlıq və İnşaat Universiteti ; English Language : Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction ) is a university in Baku , Azerbaijan .
history
The Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (ABUA) was founded in 1920 as the "Faculty of Construction" at the Baku State University . The ABUA was restructured several times and received its recognition as an autonomous institute in 1975, and from 1992 the status of a university. In 2002 the name was given today as "Azerbaijan Architecture and Building University".

The university trains around 5,000 students in 38 subjects in eight faculties. 44 professors and over 600 lecturers teach in the bachelor's and master's programs at the 44 chairs and five scientific laboratories. The current rector is Gulchohra Huseyn q. Mammadova.
Since 2002, together with the University of Montpellier and the University of Florence, the master's degree in "Building Management, Building Construction, Building Protection" has been offered.
