Architecture Prize of the City of Munich
The Architecture Prize of the City of Munich is awarded every three years for outstanding design achievement in the planning and implementation of projects, in special cases also for services to architecture in science, research and teaching. It is endowed with 10,000 euros.
The award is given to architects who live in Munich or the Munich region and have a close connection to Munich as the place where they work.
A commission, which is newly convened every two years by the Munich City Council and consists of specialist jurors and members of the City Council, has the right to make proposals .
The architecture prize is awarded alternately with the art prize and the design prize of the state capital of Munich.
