The Ardanavy (also: Ardanabia, Ardanabie ) is a river in France that runs in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises under the name Ur Handia in the municipality of Hasparren , generally drains in a northerly direction through the French Basque Country and after 26 kilometers flows into the Adour as a left tributary in the municipality of Urcuit .
