Arena Rap is an EP by US rapper Yelawolf . It was released on December 28, 2008 on the labels Ghet-O-Vision and Redd Klay for download only . The EP is the rapper's first ever label release, following his self-released debut album Creek Water in 2005.
content
In the first song Back to Bama , Yelawolf deals with his home state of Alabama and there are also allusions to these in other songs. All Aboard is about seizing the opportunities in life and not hesitating. The rapper also works on his past, which included alcohol and drug excesses , in the track Come on Over . Gone is a typical party song.
Several choruses are sung by Yelawolf instead of rapped, and he completely dispenses with guest contributions from other artists. For the hook of the song Come on Over , a sample of the song Down the Line by José González was used.
Cover design
The album cover shows the brown outline of a deer, in front of which is the lettering Yelawolf . In the lower part of the picture is the title Arena Rap EP in brown . The background is in wood colors.
