The songs on the EP are mostly pieces with fast rhythms aimed at party audiences and intended to spread a positive mood. For example, Push 'Em is a typical club song that encourages people to dance and go crazy. The Director's Cut compares the music with a film starring Michael Myers and Superman .

Travis Barker and Yelawolf both served as executive producers on their EP . Barker produced all instrumentals in collaboration with DJ mix master Mike , who contributed scratches and cuts .
Cover design
The album cover is a black and white drawing. It shows one half of the head and one half of the upper body of the two protagonists, which are joined together to form one person. Yelawolf is on the left and Travis Barker on the right. Cars, houses, animals, bottles and other things can be seen in the background. In the lower part of the picture are the words Psycho White , Travis Barker and Yelawolf in black or white.
Guest Posts
Two of the five songs contain guest appearances by other artists. The backing vocals in the song Push 'Em are sung by the rapper Skinhead Rob and the rocker Tim Armstrong . The latter also sings the chorus of the track 6 Feet Underground .

Psycho White reached number 50 in the US album charts with around 11,000 units sold in the first week after its release and left the top 200 again the following week.
On September 12, 2012, the song Push 'Em was released as a single for free download on the Internet. A music video was also shot for the song .
