Trunk Muzik is a mixtape and an EP by the US rapper Yelawolf . Both records were released in 2010.

The mixtape was released on January 1st, 2010 on the label Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment and was presented by DJ Burn One.

Most of the mixtape was produced by the producer WillPower. He created the beats for the songs Trunk Muzik , Good to Go , Pop the Trunk , Box Chevy (Part 3) , FU , Lick the Cat , Speak Her Sex , In this Club and Love Is Not Enough . Only the instrumentals for Stage Lights (Remix) and I Wish were produced by Malay in collaboration with Kawan Prather and Kane Beatz produced the remix for Mixin 'Up the Medicine .
Cover design
The Mixtapecover is a black-and-white drawing of Yelawolf crouching in front of a black car. The background is white. At the top of the picture is the writing DJ Burn One Presents and in the middle, a little larger, Yelawolf and Trunk Muzik .
Guest Posts
In addition to Yelawolf, other artists are represented on six songs on the mixtape. The rapper Bun B appears on Good to Go , while the rapper Diamond can be heard on Lick the Cat . The artist Nikkiya can be heard on Speak Her Sex and the rapper Rittz has a guest appearance on Box Chevy (Part 3) . The rappers Raekwon ( I Wish ) and Juelz Santana ( Mixin 'Up the Medicine (Remix) ) are also featured on the mixtape.

The EP was released on November 22, 2010 on the labels Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment, DGC Records and Interscope Records . Six songs ( Pop the Trunk , Box Chevy , Good to Go , Love Is Not Enough , I Wish , Trunk Muzik ) were taken from the mixtape.
Production and samples
Of the six new tracks, WillPower produced I Just Wanna Party and Marijuana and, in collaboration with Malay (Co), produced the beat for Get the Fuck Up! and together with Droop-E That's What We on Now . Jim Jonsin produced the instrumental for the song Billy Crystal with Jerry Duplessis (Co) , while Drama Beats and Cameron Wallace (Co) created the beat for the song Daddy's Lambo . Krawan Prather served as executive producer on the EP.
Love Is Not Enough contains a sample of the song Hollywood by Rick James and an insert of the song Anything by Devin the Dude . Marijuana also samples the track Moist Vagina by the grunge band Nirvana .
Cover design
The cover of the EP is a black and white picture that shows Yelawolf crouching in front of a car. It is based on the mixtape cover. In the upper left corner it says Yelawolf in red and Trunk Muzik 0-60 in white .

In addition to the rappers Rittz, Bun B and Raekwon , who are already on the mixtape , the rapper Gucci Mane appears at I Just Wanna Party and the rap duo Rock City can be heard on the song Billy Crystal .

Before the EP was released, the songs Pop the Trunk and I Just Wanna Party were decoupled as singles, neither of which, like the EP, could make it into the charts. Music videos for the songs Daddy's Lambo and Marijuana were also released. Daddy's Lambo received a gold record for more than 500,000 units sold in the United States in 2018 .
