The Argentalet is a river in France that runs in the Côte-d'Or department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the western municipality of Saulieu , from the Étang de Jaquelin , near the hamlet of Les Plaines , which is already in the neighboring municipality of Champeau-en-Morvan . The river generally drains through a large number of small lakes in a northerly direction through the Morvan Regional Nature Park and flows into the Serein after about 26 kilometers in the municipality of Montberthault , just above the border with the neighboring municipality of Sincey-lès-Rouvray as a left tributary .
