Arianna Sighel (born September 2, 1996 in Trento ) is an Italian short tracker .

Career

Sighel made his first international appearance at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck . There she took 16th place over 500 m and fifth place over 1000 m. She made her debut in the Short Track World Cup in February 2015 in Dresden . She finished 25th and 23rd over 1500 m. At the Junior World Championships 2015 in Osaka she ran to 20th place in the all-around and ninth place with the relay and at the Junior World Championships 2016 in Sofia to 35th place in the all-around and tenth place with the relay. In the 2018/19 season she came in 11th place in the all-around event and fifth place with the relay at the 2019 European Championships in Dordrecht and eighth place with the relay at the 2019 World Championships in Sofia. In February 2019 she reached her first podium in the World Cup with second place in the relay in Turin . At the European Championships 2020 in Debrecen , she won the silver medal with the relay.

Her father Roberto is a former speed skater .
