Arjan Stroetinga (born June 26, 1981 ) is a Dutch speed skater who specializes in mass starts.

Career

Stroetinga made her debut in the World Cup in Heerenveen in March 2012 and finished second in the mass start. At the following and final World Cup of the 2011/12 season, he came back on the podium with third place in the mass start and thus achieved third place in the mass start World Cup . At the beginning of the 2012/13 season he took second place in the mass start in Heerenveen. In the further course of the season he won his first World Cup victory in Inzell . At the World Cup final in Heerenveen he came third and won the mass start world cup. The following season he won his second World Cup victory in Inzell and fifth in Heerenveen. He finished second in the mass start World Cup. In the 2014/15 season he achieved second place in the World Cup and third place in the team pursuit. In the mass start in Berlin he finished second. In the other World Cup mass starts, he came in 14th, 27th and tenth place and thus achieved 12th place in the mass start World Cup. In February 2015, he won the gold medal in the mass start at the individual distance world championships in Heerenveen. At the beginning of the following season he won the mass start at the World Cup in Salt Lake City .
