Armata

Armata ( Russian Армата ) refers to a chassis for a family of armored combat vehicles made by the Russian manufacturer Uralwagonsawod from Nizhny Tagil . First pictures were published in the run-up to the parade marking the 70th anniversary of the Red Army's victory over Hitler's fascism in 2015.

Main battle tank T-14

The combat weight of vehicles on the Armata platform is a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 65 t. The 12N360 diesel engine is used as the engine .

T-14

The main battle tank T-14 is the main product of the Armata family. The distinguishing feature is the unmanned, remote-controlled tower . According to the original information provided by the Russian Defense Minister, the Russian army should receive around 2300 units of the new battle tank by 2020. However, this number was greatly reduced due to the high cost of the tank. In 2019, twelve T-14s from the first batch are due to arrive. The T-14 is the first battle tank developed since the end of the Cold War by a major armored nation.

T-15

The hull of the T-15 armored personnel carrier was rotated so that the engine and drive wheels are at the front.
