Florida Winter Series 2014

The 2014 Florida Winter Series season was the first season of the Florida Winter Series . It started on January 26th in Sebring and ended on February 19th in Homestead . A total of twelve races were held on four racetracks. The series was supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy of Scuderia Ferrari . There was no driver classification. Antonio Fuoco was the driver with the best individual placements.

There were no teams. All drivers and racing cars were looked after by a group of technicians.

The Tatuus FA10B chassis with 1.4 liter engines from Fiat Powertrain Technologies , which have an output of 140 kW (≈190 hp), was used. Hankook Tire supplies the racing tires .

Racing calendar

Four racing events with three races each were held. A race lasted 30 minutes plus one lap. It was driven on three different racetracks, all of which are in Florida. The last two events both took place on the Homestead-Miami Speedway , but had different routes. The races did not take place on the weekends, as is usual in other series, but on different days of the week.
