Armed Girl's Machiavellism ( Japanese 武装 少女 マ キ ャ ヴ ェ リ ズ ム , Busō Shōjo Makyaverizumu ) is a manga series by author Yūya Kurokami and illustrator Karuna Kanzaki , which has been published in Japan since 2014. She's in the genres of action, comedy and Shonen classified and has been called anime adapted television series.

After getting into a mighty brawl in his previous school, Fudō Nomura is transferred to another high school that has become known for taming students who are difficult to control. Nomura already has a reputation as a thug, but this school is dominated by the girls. All of them carry weapons, some even swords, and rule the boys. Among the schoolgirls, the most notorious are the Tenkagoken - the almighty five swords.

Nomura is in a class with Rin Onigawara of the five swords. He doesn't want to submit and so a fight soon ensues. In order to break the rule of the girls, he wants to gradually defeat all of the five swords.

publication

The manga has been published in Gekkan Shōnen Ace magazine by Kadokawa Shoten since March 2014 . This brought out the chapters in nine anthologies so far. Volume 4 sold about 16,000 copies in the first week after it was released.

A German translation of the series has been published by Egmont Manga since April 2018 in eight volumes. The manga is published in Italian by J-Pop.

Anime adaptation

A 12-part anime series based on the manga was created at Studio Silver Link in 2017 . The lead author was Kento Shimoyama and the director was Hideki Tachibana . The character design was created by Shoko Takimoto and the artistic direction was with Bun Sun Lee .

The 23-minute long 12 episodes of the series were broadcast from April 5 to June 21, 2017 on AT-X , as well as on Tokyo MX , KBS , TV Aichi , Sun TV , TVQ and BS11 in Japan with an offset of up to two weeks . Versions with English, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles were published by various online platforms, and a German version came out on Anime on Demand . The station Animax Asia aired the English version on TV.

The limited version of the seventh volume was accompanied by a 13th episode.

The music for the series was composed by Hiromi Mizutani . The opening credits are Shocking Blue by Miku Itō and the credits are underlaid with the song Decide by Tenka Goken .
