Armin Danco

Armin Danco (born November 4, 1927 - † February 6, 2017 ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Armin Danco worked for many years in the interior and science administration of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf . In the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia, he was head of department for the selection and training of executives in the state administration. In 1970 he became senior ministerial advisor and group leader for the new universities, medical institutions and art schools in the Ministry of Science . He later became head of the central department. A commemorative publication was dedicated to him in 1990 to mark his departure from active service.

During his studies he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . Because of outstanding services to this student association, he became an honorary member. Danco did his PhD in Münster. jur. (1961).

He was made an honorary senator for his services in building up the Ruhr University in Bochum . The Medical Faculty of the Ruhr University awarded him the Kortum Medal in 1991.

Danco received the Federal Cross of Merit for his responsible service in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
