Armin Rühl

Armin Rühl (born April 5, 1957 in Rettigheim ) is a German drummer . He gained fame above all as a band member of Herbert Grönemeyer . He supports u. a. also Michael Mittermeier and Lucy Diakovska ( No Angels ).

At the age of seven he was accepted into the local brass band. At 14 he played drums in school bands, got to know a wide variety of music styles and gained live experience. In 1978 he played his first professional studio gig for Edo Zanki in the Hansa Studios in Berlin.

In 1986 he took the stage free of charge at the Anti-WAAhnsinns Festival against the planned Wackersdorf reprocessing plant .
