Arne Braun (translator)

Arne Braun (born September 21, 1965 in Dresden ) is a German translator .

Life

Arne Braun completed a degree in German and Dutch studies , which she completed with a master's degree. She is a research assistant in the Dutch Studies department at the University of Leipzig . In addition , she has been translating novels , short stories and non-fiction books from Dutch and English into German since 2000 .

Arne Braun is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , the "Internationale Vereniging voor Neerlandistiek" and the Saxon Association for the Promotion of Literary Translation "Die Fähre". She lives in Leipzig.
