Arnold Deutz

Arnold Deutz (born October 15, 1810 in Aachen ; † June 14, 1884 ibid) was a German manufacturer and politician.

Life

Arnold Deutz was a cloth manufacturer in Aachen and chairman of the local trade court. He was also a city ​​councilor in Aachen and from 1865 to 1870 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . At first he was non-attached, but from 1866 to 1870 he belonged to the parliamentary group of the Left Center. From 1867 to 1871 he was also a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Aachen 5 (city of Aachen). In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament . He was initially non-attached, but later belonged to the parliamentary group of the Free Association in the Reichstag .

In addition, he sat on the supervisory board of the Aachener Anzeiger of the publisher Joseph La Ruelle and was a member of the Club Aachener Casino .
