Arnold Krüger (politician, 1920)

Arnold Krüger (born September 13, 1920 in Berlin ; † August 28, 2011 there ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Arnold Krüger attended a high school and from 1936 a commercial vocational school . At the same time he made a course as a radio technician , in 1939 he passed the exams as a clerk and radio technician. After initially being an employee, he was drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1940 and was taken prisoner by the Soviets in 1945 .

After the Second World War , Krüger returned to Berlin in 1949 and joined the FDP a year later. He became an independent businessman , took over a GmbH in 1955 and became managing director. Since Hans-Günter Hoppe became a member of the Bundestag, Krüger moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives in October 1973 . In March 1979 he resigned from parliament, but moved back to the House of Representatives in December 1983, as Horst Vetter had resigned . In March 1985, Krüger finally resigned from parliament.
