Arnoldus Langemann
Arnold Langemann , also Arnoldus Langemann, later Arnoldus Macrander (* around 1566 in Mengeringhausen ; † March 15, 1620 in Peckelsheim ) was the secretary, chamberlain and councilor of Count von Waldeck .
Life
Arnold Langemann studied in Wittenberg , known as "Waldeccus Westvalus" (1586), in 1589 was secretary to the (Prince) Bishop of Osnabrück Bernhard von Waldeck , secretary of the Waldeck-Eisenberg line (1591), principal of the Mengeringhausen school (1593), secretary and Chamber Master of the Count of Waldeck-Wildungen, councilor of the Countess-Widow of Waldeck-Wildungen (1594), Procurator of Nieder-Wildungen (1608) and Fiscalis (representative of the tax authorities) of the Dringenberg Office (1610-1612).
He married Margaretha Nicolai, daughter of Theodor Dietrich Rafflenboel (Nicolai) and Katharina Meyhan, sister of the famous theologian, priest and composer Philipp Nicolai, his first marriage in Osnabrück in 1589 . Margaretha was born in Mengeringhausen and died of the plague in Alt-Wildungen on February 14, 1597 .
In his second marriage, from 1599, he was married to Regina Nübel , daughter of Johann Nübel. Regina was born in Peckelsheim in 1575, where she also died. She was "Camermagd with the Countess zu Wildungen , previously nannies".
He changed ( Hellenized ) its name to Arnold (us) Macrander and progenitor of the family Macrander .
His cousin was Anton Holmann (* around 1535 in Mengeringhausen ; † March 7, 1606 in Mengeringhausen), Chancellor of Arolsen .
