Nübel ( Danish : Nybøl ) is a municipality in the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein . The community consists of the places Berend ( Bjernt ), Brekling ( Bregling ) and Nübel. Breklingfeld, Haarholm ( Hareholm ), Hoheluft ( Højenloft ), Guldenholm ( Guldholm ) and Triangel (also Osterkrug , Danish triangle or Østerkro ) are in the municipality.

Geography and traffic

Nübel is about five kilometers north of Schleswig am Langsee . The federal highway 201 runs south from Husum to Kappeln , west the federal highway 7 from Schleswig to Flensburg . Landesstraße 22 runs through Brekling, Hoheluft and Triangle. In Triangle, the L 22 joins the B 201.

history

On January 1, 1971, the communities of Brekling and Nübel were merged to form the new community of Brekling-Nübel. On January 1, 1974 Berend was added. The name of the community was officially changed to Nübel .
