Arradoul is a village in the Scottish Council Area Moray . It is not far from the south bank of the Moray Firth near the town of Buckie about 35 km west of Banff and 15 km north of Keith . It consists of only a few buildings, which are mainly grouped along the A98 , which connects the cities along the Moray coast to the trunk road network. The Inchgower whiskey distillery, which is still active today, is located directly to the east .
In the 19th century Arradoul was reported to have a probably Neolithic circle made of large stones that were evenly spaced from one another. However, the stones were probably used for construction in the meantime and the historical structure no longer exists today. A historical artefact was found east of the village on Burn of Buckie in the 19th century with the head of a Stone Age ax .
