Arrondissements of Lyon
The city of Lyon is divided into nine arrondissements municipaux , which are urban districts. These arrondissements are not to be confused with the French-wide administrative units with this name . Along with Paris and Marseille , Lyon is one of three French cities with so-called arrondissements municipaux . Basically, the arrondissements were created in 1852, but they have been changed significantly since then.
