The Arroyo Caraguatá is a river in northern Uruguay .
The approximately 120 kilometers long river flows in a northeast-southwest direction through the Departamentos Rivera and Tacuarembó to its confluence with the Río Tacuarembó , whose left tributary it is. Its upper course passes west of the city of Vichadero . Its source is a few kilometers northwest between the same city and Moirones, immediately east of that of the Arroyo Cerro Chato . On his way he crosses northwest of Las Toscas the Ruta 26 . Its mouth is about two kilometers upstream of the Paso de la Laguna . The name is also used by a nearby ridge and by two local communities in the Tacuarembó department.
