The Arroyo Gutiérrez is a river in southeastern Uruguay .
The river, which belongs to the catchment area of the Laguna Merín, has its source in the Cuchilla Grande at an altitude of more than 350 meters above sea level in the western part of the Lavalleja department . Its 75-kilometer course through the department ends at the confluence with the Río Cebollatí .
