The Arroyo Maciel is a river in Uruguay .

It rises at the southeast tip of the Flores department on its border with the Florida department in the Cuchilla del Pintado northwest of the source of the Arroyo de la Horqueta . From there it runs in a northerly direction, forming the borderline between the two departments. After forming the border between Flores and Durazno in the lower reaches and crossing under Ruta 14 , it finally flows into the Río Yí as a left-hand tributary not far upstream from the mouth of the Arroyo del Tala a few kilometers west of Durazno .
