The Arroyo del Tala is a river in Uruguay .
It rises south-southeast of Juan José Castro . From there it runs in the area of the Departamento Flores in a north-easterly, later in a northerly direction, crossing under Ruta 14 . As a left tributary, it flows into the Río Yí not far downstream from the mouth of the Arroyo Maciel .
