The Arroyo Riachuelo is a small river in the Colonia department in southern Uruguay .

The left-hand tributary of the Río de la Plata rises south of Tarariras near Ruta 22 at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level. On its way to the mouth, it is fed by the Arroyo Quintón , a tributary on the right, along with numerous smaller watercourses . It passes under Ruta 1 and finally flows into the Río de la Plata one kilometer east of the Laguna de los Patos airport and east of Punta Anostura .
