Art Bragg

Art Bragg (actually Arthur George Bragg ; born December 3, 1930 in Baltimore , † August 25, 2018 in California ) was an American sprinter .

In 1951 he won silver over 100 m and 200 m at the Pan American Games in Mexico City and won the 4 x 100 meter relay with the US team .

At the Olympic Games in 1952 , he reached the semifinals over 100 m.

He was three times US champion over 100 m or 100 yards (1950, 1953, 1954) and once over 220 yards (1954). In 1951 he was starting NCAA championship over 100 yards for Morgan State College , in 1954 he was Canadian champion over 220 yards.
