Artem Udachyn
Artem Serhijowytsch Udatschyn ( Ukrainian Артем Сергійович Удачин ; born March 26, 1980 in Mariupol , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian weightlifter .
He was Junior World Champion in 1998 and 1999 and finished ninth in the super heavyweight division at the 1999 World Championships . In 2000 he took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney , where he was eleventh. At the 2002 World Championships , he won the bronze medal. In 2003 Udatschyn was fourth at the European Championships . In the same year he was banned until 2005 for a doping violation .
After his suspension he was runner- up at the 2006 World Championships. In 2007 he reached fifth place at the World Championships . At the Olympic Games in Beijing , he was fourth. In 2009 he was runner-up again at the world championships and won bronze at the 2010 world championships . At the 2013 European Championships , he won silver in duels and pushing and gold in snatching.
