Arthur Ferrante
Arthur Ferrante (born September 7, 1921 in New York City , † September 19, 2009 in Highlands , North Carolina ) was an American pianist .
Life
Art Ferrante performed together with the pianist Louis Milton Teicher as Ferrante & Teicher from 1947 . Both had attended the Juilliard School in New York City and later also taught there. They became known for their interpretations of the theme songs from films such as Das Appartement , Exodus , West Side Story ("Tonight") and Midnight Cowboy .
Arthur Ferrante died on September 19, 2009.
