Arthur König (theologian)
Arthur König (born June 4, 1843 in Neisse , Province of Silesia ; † October 9, 1921 in Breslau , Province of Lower Silesia ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
He was ordained a priest on June 27, 1867, and in 1868 he was a religion teacher at the Gymnasium in Glogau , then in Neisse. In 1882 he was appointed full professor of dogmatics at the University of Breslau . In 1897 he took over pastoral theology. In 1896 he became cathedral capitular, in 1898/1899 he was rector magnificus of the university. In 1912 he was appointed Apostolic Protonotary and released in 1919.
