Arthur Kern

Arthur Eugen Ludwig Kern (born May 30, 1862 in Quanzendorf , Reichenbach district , Province of Silesia , † January 26, 1931 in Berlin ) was a German historian .

Life

Kern grew up in his place of birth and passed the matriculation examination in 1885 at the Maria Magdalenen grammar school in Breslau . He studied one semester at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University in Breslau and then moved to the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In Berlin doctorate he was taught by Gustav Schmoller 1892, Dr. phil.
