Arthur Leycester Scott Coltman

Sir Arthur Leycester Scott Coltman ( May 24, 1938 - 2003 ) was a British diplomat . He was British Ambassador to Cuba from 1991 to 1994 .

Life

Coltman studied at Rugby School and Magdalene College in Cambridge and one year at Manchester Business School . After joining the British diplomatic service, he was accredited in Copenhagen, Cairo, Brasilia, Mexico City and Brussels. On June 14, 1997 he was knighted as Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire . In 1998 he was retired.
