Arthur Nightingale
Arthur Tulloch Nightingale (* 1931 in London- Greenwich ) is a British actor .
life and work
The trained telecommunications technician only started acting at the age of 42 and trained at the East 15 Acting School , later played Shakespeare and Brecht on stage and took on minor roles in musicals . In film and television, Nightingale has been seen mostly in supporting roles in British productions.
In the German-speaking world, he is best known for the role of the lonely pensioner in the Edeka commercial Heimkommen , which went viral in 2015 .
