The 2015 Austrian Football League was the 31st season of the top Austrian men's American football division . It began on March 22, 2015 with the game of the Vienna Vikings against the Swarco Raiders Tirol . The season ended on July 11, 2015 with the Austrian Bowl XXXI in the Wörthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt .
The mode remained the same compared to the previous year, as the Carinthian Lions and the Vienna Knights, the two best clubs from Division I, refused to advance after the past season . A simple round-trip round was played, so each team had a total of eight games. The best four teams of the regular season took part in the playoffs, with the first two having home rights. Its winners played in the Austrian Bowl for the Austrian title.
As in the previous year, ORF also broadcast some games live this season. In addition to four basic through games, both playoffs and the Austrian Bowl XXXI were broadcast.
