Arthur Georg Nordenswan (born January 27, 1883 in Stockholm , † December 29, 1970 ibid) was a Swedish marksman and colonel in the Swedish army .

successes

Arthur Nordenswan took part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm in three disciplines. With the small-bore rifle, he did not get past 16th place in any position in the competition; on the vanishing target he reached 28th place. In the prone stop over 50 m, he completed the team competition with Ruben Örtegren , Vilhelm Carlberg and Eric Carlberg behind Great Britain and ahead of the United States in second place. Nordenswan was the team's best shooter with 190 points.

Nordenswan was a colonel in the Swedish army . At the Battle of Salla , he was one of the commanding officers of the Swedish Volunteer Corps during the Winter War . His father, Carl Otto Nordensvan, was a major general in the army.
