Arthur Warnecke (life dates unknown) was a German football player .

Career

Warnecke initially belonged to the Altona football club from 1893 as a striker , for which he played the 1924/25 point games season in the championships organized by the North German Football Association until 1933 . With the championship won in the Elbe district , next to the Alster district one of two district leagues in the district league Groß-Hamburg, he and his team met in the district finals on Hamburger SV , which they defeated 3-2; so both final teams were qualified for the final round of the North German Championship. After the qualifying game won 6: 2 against Schwerin FC 03 , he and his team moved into the six-team winning relay , which was tied with Hamburger SV. On June 15, 1925, Hamburger SV won 2-1 in the decisive game that had become necessary for first place and thus for the North German Championship; nevertheless, both teams were represented as participants in the final round of the German championship . On his debut on May 3, 1925 in Szczecin , he scored three goals in a 4-2 round of 16 victory over the host FC Titania . The quarter-finals against Duisburg SpV fourteen days later were lost 2-0 at the Hoheluft stadium in Hamburg .

For the following season changed to Hamburger SV, he won with the club during his two-year membership, two district and regional championships; the winning relays achieved through the successful qualifying games in the final rounds of the North German Championship were finished in second place with one point behind Holstein Kiel . For Hamburger SV he played a total of four finals for the German championship in two consecutive seasons. He played his last final game on May 8, 1927 with the round of 16 , which was won 4-1 in the Düsseldorf Rheinstadion against the host Fortuna .
