Arthur von Witzleben

Arthur Julius Adolf Ferdinand Wilhelm Hermann August von Witzleben (born May 22, 1835 in Berlin , † August 25, 1905 in Görlitz ) was a German politician . He was landscape director and member of the state parliament of Upper Lusatia , a Brunswick upper chamberlain, hereditary administrator of the Roßleben monastery school , Prussian captain and legal knight of the Order of St. John and landowner in Kieslingswalde . From 1896 to 1900 he was district administrator for the district of Görlitz .

He came from the Thuringian noble family Witzleben and was the fifth child of the Prussian Lieutenant General Ferdinand von Witzleben . Arthur von Witzleben was married twice.
