Arthur zu Erbach-Erbach

Franz Arthur Ludwig Adalbert of Erbach-Erbach and Warta mountain Roth (* 1. September 1849 in Eulbach ; † 7. June 1908 in Erbach (Odenwald) ) was as a member of the ancient and noble house Erbach representatives of civil rule Erbach-Erbach in the First Chamber the estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Arthur zu Erbach-Erbach was the sixth son of Count Eberhard XV. zu Erbach-Erbach (1818–1884) and Klothilde, née Countess zu Erbach-Fürstenau (1826–1871). He was married to Marie Friederike, born Princess zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg (1857–1939) , since 1878 . The couple had three sons, Konrad (1881–1940), Eberhard (1886–1917) and Alexander (1891–1952).

Life

After private tuition by private tutors, he enrolled in law at the University of Heidelberg in 1868 , but switched to the Royal Prussian Forest Academy in Hannoversch Münden in 1869 . From 1871 until 1903 he worked as a chamber director at the Graeflich Erbach-Erbach and Wartenberg-Rothischen Rentkammer in Erbach.

With power of attorney dated October 13, 1905, he represented his brother, the ruling Count Georg Albrecht IV zu Erbach-Erbach (1844–1915) as a member of the Erbach-Erbach estate in the First Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse until his death in 1908 ; he was sworn in on October 10, 1905.

He was head of the Christian Social Party in the Erbach district .
