Arto Kuki (born February 22, 1976 in Espoo ) is a former Finnish ice hockey player .

Career

Arto Kuki began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth division of Espoo Blues , for whose professional team he was active in the SM-liiga from 1994 to 2000 . Then the center played for four years for their league rivals Tappara Tampere . With Tappara he failed in the 2000/01 and 2001/02 seasons only in the playoff final before he and his team were Finnish champions in the third attempt in the 2002/03 season . From 2004 to 2007 he was on the ice for Jokerit Helsinki , with whom he also reached the playoff finals in 2005 and 2007, but lost again with his team. For the 2007/08 season he returned to his hometown club Espoo Blues. With the team he also failed only in the playoff final before ending his career at the age of 32.

International

For Finland , Kuki took part in the junior division at the U18 European Junior Championship in 1994 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 1996 . In the senior sector he was in his country's squad for the Euro Hockey Tour in 2003 and 2004 .
