Arvid Aae
Arvid Aae (born July 1, 1877 in Hjortsberga , Sweden, † August 12, 1913 in Ludvigslyst ) was a Danish painter .
Career
Aae initially completed a three-year apprenticeship as a decorative painter and then studied at the Vermehrens Malerskole and from 1896 to 1901 at the Art Academy in Copenhagen. A travel grant from the academy enabled him to travel to Italy and Paris in 1905/06. On April 15, 1905, he married the painter Olga Harriet Aae , b. Rasmussen (* 1877; † 1965).
He painted portraits, especially children, and genre scenes. He also created an altarpiece in the church in Brande in collaboration with Carl Milton Jensen .
