aschenbrenner.wunderl is the name of a cabaret duo from Vienna that was founded in 2014 by the two trained actresses Astrid Aschenbrenner and Patrizia Wunderl.

history

Aschenbrenner and Wunderl met at the entrance exam for the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, where neither of them was accepted. They then successfully completed their training at other drama schools. After they did not get a permanent job in their learned profession, the idea arose to process their experiences in this regard in a cabaret program.

The duo has been regularly seen on cabaret stages since 2014 and has already won several prizes in competitions. At the Vienna Cabaret Festival 2015 in the Vienna City Hall , they appeared in the supporting program with Klaus Eckel and Viktor Gernot .

Astrid Aschenbrenner

Astrid Aschenbrenner (born August 20, 1989 in Vienna ), after graduating from high school in 2007, first studied musicals at the Performing Center Austria from 2008 to 2009 , then attended an acting seminar with Nicholas Barter, the director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art , in 2010 . In 2011, the Michael Chekhov workshop at the Munich Film Academy followed and then, until 2013, training at the Krauss drama school , which she completed with a state diploma. Her real name after the wedding in 2017 is Astrid Kiss.

Patrizia Wunderl

Patrizia Wunderl (born April 18, 1985 in Vienna ) completed her acting training in Vienna from 2009 to 2012 and an acting workshop in New York City .
