The 2006/07 season was the fourth season of the Asia League Ice Hockey , the highest East Asian ice hockey division . The Nippon Paper Cranes became champions for the second time in the club's history .

mode

In the regular season, each of the eight teams played a total of 34 games. The six best-placed teams of the regular season qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played, with the two best-placed teams qualifying directly for the playoff semifinals. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a draw and a defeat after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
