Asian Champion Club Tournament 1967

The Asian Champion Club Tournament 1969 was the second season of the most important Asian competition for club teams in football . It took place from January 15 to 30, 1969 in Bangkok , the capital of Thailand . The national champions from ten Asian countries were invited. The game was played first in a group stage and then in the knockout system .

Maccabi Tel Aviv won the competition by beating Yangzee FC 1-0 in the final .

mode

The ten participants were divided into two groups of five, each playing against each other once. The two group best from each group qualified for the semifinals. The group winner from one group met the runner-up from the other group. The two losers played for third place. The championship was decided in one game.
