action

A dispute broke out in the Gallic village of Asterix and Obelix because the boys refused to let the girls play during the school break. Because of this, there is a fight among the men, while the girls' mothers go to the teacher Miraculix during recess and threaten to take the children out of school. When Troubadix, the bard, tries to settle the dispute, he himself becomes a victim and decides to continue his life in the forest. A short time later, the bard Maestria comes to the village. Obelix laughs at her because of her pants. She announces that from now on she will be the village teacher and that she wants to see Obelix in her class. She is immediately unpopular with men, with women she becomes a role model and is given the Troubadix hut as an apartment by them. Since she sings in the night, her hut is destroyed by the men.

The next day, Obelix appears in Maestria's class, where he wants to eat another student's snack. At the same time, Gaius Iulius Caesar, with the help of Admiral Claudius Nimdenbus, sets up a super special centurion consisting of women only , since he found out that beating women is taboo among the Gauls. Meanwhile, Maestria calls on the Gauls to escape the tyranny and slavery of men. Then the women put on trousers; Gutemine, the wife of Chief Majestix, is on his badge, her husband is angry. After Asterix, Miraculix and Obelix talk to him in his hut, they decide that Asterix should tell Maestria that she is not welcome in the village. However, Asterix does not manage to convey this message to her, instead they agree that she can sleep in Asterix 'hut until hers is rebuilt. Maestria meets with Gutemine and convinces her that she wants to become the village chief. This leads to an argument with Majestix, who is finally beaten up by Gutemine and decides to move out. He goes to Troubadix in the woods.

Asterix and Obelix and Miraculix plan to hold a democratic chief election between Majestix and his wife. Her plan is thwarted by Maestria, whereupon Asterix beats her and is therefore banished from the village. Obelix and Miraculix decide to move with him into the forest, where all the other men from the village are now. At the same time, the Super Special Centurion arrives at the Römerlager Aquarium. When the detached centurion starts to laugh, she is beaten up by the women's army. Asterix and Obelix observe this and tell Majestix about it. He advises to notify the women who are alone in the village. When Asterix and Obelix warn the women, Maestria wants to visit the Roman women and convince them in a conversation to leave the village alone. As she leaves the village, Asterix and Obelix are showered by the other women with clothes for the freezing men in the forest.

When Maestria tries to make a proposal to the Roman women, she is beaten up by them. Asterix comes to her and makes a deal: he drives out the Roman women and the women make peace with the men again. When the Roman legionnaires come into the forest, Troubadix begins to sing and drives them away. Gradually they are approaching the village. Admiral Nimdenbus realizes too late that it is a trap. But the Gallic women have set up fashion stands to sell clothes to the Roman women. The local men let their frustration out on the Romans in their camps and beat everyone up. The Roman women, decked out in clothing, say goodbye to the Gallic villagers, who are reconciled with their husbands, and everyone celebrates their banquet until late at night, at which Maestria announces that she will return to Lutetia.
